Blogging...FAIL!

So, it is the end of February...I started this blog in October...what in the heck?!  I didn't hardly blog at all while I was healing from surgery.  I guess I failed at blogging.  I will not be so hard on myself.  I am busy every single day.  However, I will definitely try to blog more.  I have been reading other people's blog and noticed that my sister Tori blogs quite often daily.  My cousin's wife Hannah blogs on Tuesdays, which is cool since I think I could actually set an alarm on my phone to remind me.  HA!  I love to read what I was writing and thinking though and so I think I will try to be a lot more regular.  Any ideas on how to keep blogging from fellow bloggers?  Just curious.  One thing I do see as a problem is the way I titled my blog...I feel like I almost set myself up for not being able to talk about crochet every single time I write...but that is okay too right?

It's been awhile....

I have been neglecting the blog...I thought it would keep me going while recovering at home but I find with all the stress I have been under it only serves as a major bitch fest and that is a downer.  So, I thought I would try not to vent tonight, even though I can't sleep which I am getting used to, and make insomnia a plus.

Averee stayed home today not feeling well so we did some pattern searching on Raverly and found the cutest baby patterns for Shay's new baby boy.  I can't wait to get started.  Her nursery is in a Noah's Ark theme so I picked a super cute giraffe layette pattern that I hope she enjoys.  I made Averee a purse and a neck warmer today both with super chunky hook and lots of colorful yarn.  As I took the pictures of her modeling said warmer I was blown away by how grown she looks these days...what has happened to my little girl?

Dallas
She is becoming a young woman right before my very eyes.  I suppose it is a blessing that I have had the summer through now to spend with my kids at home.  Both Ave and Drew have blossoming personalities that are just awesome...I enjoy spending time with them.  They are goofy, smart, talented and all around really good kids.  Andrew of course turned 9 on the 1st of January and in a matter of days Averee with be officially a teenager when she turns 13 on the 15th...where has the time gone?

I am posting a pic of Ave in the neck warmer and a picture I got from my dear friend Kayla McCombs...I made her an owl hat for her baby shower and she had her precious bundle on Christmas Eve...the picture is of the new baby, Dallas, in his owl hat.
Gotta love newborn pics and I especially love this certain boy since he was born to two of the most deserving parents I have ever met.  Enjoy him Kayla and Cory!  ♥
